St Martins
St.Martins, Isles of Scilly is the northernmost populated island within the Scilly Isles.
There are no direct flights into St.Martins; however, connecting boats can take visitors on to the island upon arrival into Tresco or St.Marys heliport.
There are three main settlements on St.Martins; Higher Town, Middle Town and Lower Town, in addition to the outlying farms and cottages which make up this small community of just 142 people.
In the far north east corner of St.Martins, Isles of Scilly, is a red and white daymark erected in 1683, the oldest dated example of a beacon surviving within the UK today.
Take a short boat trip from the heliport on St.Mary’s or Tresco to this remote island paradise.
